Offseason Video Series: Glenn Thomas
PHOENIX, AZ -- MileSplit Arizona videographer Austin Pestka recently made a trip to Phoenix to meet up with Northwest Christian junior Glenn Thomas, who is one of the top returning athletes in Division IV coming into the 2023 outdoor track and field season.
Thomas is coming off a state championship in cross country as he won the Division IV individual title at The AIA State Cross Country Championships in November. As well as the state title, Thomas ran 14:53 for three miles at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic to finish in second place at the prestigious meet. That time ended up as third fastest time for that distance in the state for the 2022 cross country season.
Headed into the spring, Thomas comes in with personal bests of 4:30.55 in the 1600m and 9:49.64 in the 3200m. He is top two in Division IV for both events. To watch the video, click here.
