PHOENIX, AZ -- MileSplit Arizona videographer Austin Pestka made a series of visits around the area with different athletes to catch up with them in the offseason.

Pestka first caught up with distance runners and twin brothers Gibson, who is the defending Division I state champion in cross country, and Francis Kibia from Chandler High School, then travelled to Brophy Prep to talk with the state's top high jumper in Brennen McHenry before heading to Northwest Christian to interview reigning Division IV cross country state champion Glenn Thomas.

The last video installment centers on the North Canyon girls track and field team, which is one of the most successful programs in the state. The Rattlers have won every single state title since 2017 and have featured three of the last four Arizona Gatorade Players of the Year.
