BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The LSU Track & Field teams came out firing in their opener of the 2014 indoor season on Saturday as the Tigers and Lady Tigers combined to win five event titles and record 11 indoor personal-best performances as part of a strong 12-team field competing at the Auburn Indoor Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Junior Philip Primeaux finished 53rd overall and led the Tigers to a 13th-place finish in the men’s 8k with 376 points, while junior Andria Aguilar finished 51st to cross the finish line first for the Lady Tigers for the fourth straight race, as she led her squad to a 17th-place finish in the women’s 5k with 438 points at the Harry Pritchett Running Course.
