Paradise Valley senior Lucas Grunden (right) in the seeded mile at the Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High School on April 8. Grunden finished in third place in 4:16.31, which converts to a 4:14.82 1600m. That time is ranked first in Division II -- and all of Arizona -- after nine weeks of the outdoor track and field season. Grunden, who is committed to Concordia University, is also ranked first in the division for the 800m (1:54.32) and is second in the 3200m (9:24.90).
