Samantha Schadler from Rio Rico High School is currently ranked as the 12th fastest sophomore in the nation. Earlier this season, she placed 3rd (17:27:10) at the Desert Twilight XC Festival .
Perry's Anthony Haren will be a major contender to win this Friday's Division I Section I Championship. Twelve days ago, he won the Titan Invitational on the same course.
