Chandler senior Gibson Kibia, then a junior, at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Kibia ran 15:44.00 at the Chandler City Championships, making him the second-fastest returning senior athlete over 5,000 meters heading into the 2022 cross country season.
