Pinnacle senior Gabriella Chiara (left) in the elite 800m at the Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational at Chandler High School on March 26. Entering the AIA Division I State Championships this week, Chiara is entering top form at the right time as the senior ran a lifetime personal best of 2:12.06 last week at the Northeast Valley Championships to make her the No. 1 athlete in the division for the event.
