2021 Varsity, JV and Freshman All-City Track and Field Meet
Hosted by McClintock High School - April 27 - April 29, 2021

Enclosed is the information for the Varsity/JV-Open/Freshman City Meet to be held at McClintock High School (Tuesday & Thursday) and Desert Vista High School (Wednesday).
Tuesday (at McClintock High School) April 27th LJ/TJ - 3:00 pm, HJ and Running Events - 4 pm
Wednesday (at Desert Vista High School) April 28thPV - 2:30pm, javelin - 10am, Boys discus and girls shot put1:30pm. (girls disc and boys shot will be after completion of boys disc and girls shot put)
Implement weigh-in javelin 9:15a-9:45a (none after), shot put and discus 12:45pm -1:15pm (none after) table will be at the throwing fields.
Thursday (at McClintock High School) April 29th LJ/TJ- 3:00 pm, HJ -4:00 pm & Running Events - 5 pm
Each school must provide a box of 32 shells for starter
Admission: $10 (good for all 3 days) for Adults All tickets must be bought on Gofan.co
Max of 100 tickets per team
Up to 2 tickets per transaction will be allowed
This will be a State Qualifying Meet
Entries: Each school will be allowed four (4) entries per individual event and on (1) relay team in each relay event PER level. Entries need to be entered on milesplit no later than Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:59 pm.
Changes will be allowed to be made the day of the meet. If you know of a change before hand, please let us know ASAP so we are not scrambling the day of the meet. Forms for changes will be available at the coachs meeting and emailed to coaches. It would be greatly appreciated if you could make your changes before you arrive.
Events:
Prelims will be on Tuesday andFinals on Thursday. ALL throwing events and pole vault will be at Desert Vista High School on April 28, 2021. Track athletes must check in with the clerk of the course in the bullpen in the center of the track.
Three (3) attempts will be given in the horizontal jumps. The top nine (9) jumpers will go into finals and receive 3 additional jumps in the final round.
Three (3) attempts will be given in the throws and the top nine (9) throwers will be given an additional three (3) throws in the final round.
Miscellaneous:
Trainers will be available on the North End of the Stadium next to the Finish Line. (See attached information).
Concessions will be available on both nights.
Teams will be allowed canopies on the Eastside bleachers only.
Coaches Meeting 2:30pm - The weight room in 1700 building next to the track
This is a non-scoring state qualifying meet.
Each school will be assigned an event. The assigned school will bring their helpers and personnel to run the event. Clip boards will be provided with heat sheets. This year we are asking that you please confirm with Jermaine Whitaker jwhitaker@tuhsd.k12.az.us via email who you have to run the event and their assistants by Thursday April 22nd.

Sports Medicine Information
McClintock Trainers will provide/perform:
Multiple drinking stations with water for all athletes.
Ice bags for injuries.
Any form oftaping for all athletes who provide taping supplies (tape, pre-wrap, heel & lace pads etc.) for the tape job they need. Sorry, we cannot utilize any of our taping supplies due to the large number of athletes that could possibly want to be taped or wrapped.
Any first aid, i.e. wound care, to all athletes injured during the course of the Invite.
We will be unable to provide/perform:
Massage of any type Pre or Post race.
Sun Screen, Gatorade, replacement spikes or spike wrenches.
A shady place to sit or hang out, unless suffering from a heat related condition as determined by the Athletic Training Staff.
Ice for personal bottles, jugs, or uses other than injuries.
Elastic wraps for pre or post-race injuries. We will wrap any athlete that brings an elastic wrap with them.
Icy Hot or any other form of heat balms or lotions.
Tape to cover mark spots for relays/ jumps and or to keep shoes together.
Trainers will not provide oxygen unless it is a medical emergency.
Please remind all your athletes with allergies or that are prone to allergic reactions/attacks to bring all inhalers or medications required in case they have an episode.
Please make us aware of any of your athletes that are diabetic and remind them to have plenty of snacks/drinks with them, to keep their blood sugar from dipping too low.
Lastly, please make sure that you have an emergency transport form for all your athletes participating in the event that they sustain an injury that requires transport by ambulance to the ER.
