Meet Information
Welcome all freshman/sophomores to the 4th annual BEARS Underclassman Invitational.
We understand that some of our athletes at the high school levels may not be able to compete at the varsity level. This meet is designed for our future varsity stars and allows them to compete with their own grade levels.
Only 9th and 10th grade levels qualify to compete
4 entries per event, only 1 relay team per school per relay
Top 3 places receive awards
Wingfoot Finish will be our timers. This will be a non-scoring state qualifier
Contested Events will be:
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m, 100/110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, LJ, HJ, TJ, PV, SP, Discus, javelin
uncontested throwers twinkie relay
javelin (2 runways) will begin at 2:30 pm with shot put (girls, boys) and discus (boys, girls) to follow.
4 attempts, no finals
Throwing events will be held on upper field above the baseball fields. Weigh-ins will be just inside the admission gate to the track.
All other field events begin at 3:00 pm.
Running events begin at 3:30pm
Coaches meeting at 2:00 pm on the in field.
Payment:
Entry fee is $300 for both boys and girls or $150 for one gender.
